Your vehicle also needs compatible reporting, the right permissions and completed setup.

Permission to connect
Use a Tesla account authorized to access the vehicle. Only connect vehicles you have authority to monitor.
Supported vehicle and region
Compatibility depends on model, firmware, region and manufacturer access. We do not assume that every Tesla supports the same fields. Ask us if you’re unsure.
Complete the guided setup
Protect your account, authorize Tesla, select your vehicle, complete key pairing where required and approve tracking.
Wait for the first update
Setup completion does not prove data has arrived. Check the reported times in your vehicle view.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE

The latest received position, with the time it was reported. Sleeping or offline vehicles may not send recent updates.

Recorded journeys and mileage where observations support them. Missing route sections stay visible as gaps.

Recorded charging activity and reported energy where available. Incomplete sessions are not presented as complete totals.

Choose tracking hours or pause collection. Consent, collection settings and received data are separate.

Tell us its manufacturer, model and region. You don’t need to share a VIN to ask.
