Connect your Tesla
A step-by-step guide from account protection to your first received vehicle update.
Before you start
Check the vehicle requirements. Use a manufacturer account that can access the vehicle and make sure you have authority to monitor it. Capabilities depend on the vehicle, region, firmware and permissions.
Create and protect your account
Create your Odomojo account and verify your email. Two-factor protection is optional and off by default; you can enable it later in Account security. If you enable it, keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Choose a personal space for your own vehicles or a business space for your fleet. A single account can belong to more than one space.
Authorize Tesla and select your vehicle
Open the vehicle connection flow in your space. Continue to Tesla to review the permissions and authorize access. After returning, discover the available vehicles and select the one you want to monitor.
Manufacturer authorization does not mean Odomojo is receiving vehicle data yet.
Complete vehicle setup
Follow the vehicle’s setup panel. Complete key pairing where required, check its status, and explicitly approve tracking with the hours you want. If setup is interrupted, return to the vehicle to see the next step.
Check the first update
Look for an actual reported time in the vehicle view. Account connection, completed setup and received observations are separate facts. If no usable data arrives, follow the missing updates guide.
The trial guide explains when the one-vehicle trial begins and how long setup access lasts.
