  1. Permission to connect

Use a Tesla account authorised to access the vehicle. Only connect vehicles you have authority to monitor.

  2. Review vehicle requirements

Tesla software 2024.26 or later is required for tracking. Odomojo checks compatibility during connection and shows any setup steps your vehicle needs. Older Model S/X vehicles may not support the required telemetry; check your vehicle before relying on tracking.

  3. Complete setup and choose tracking hours

Verify your Odomojo email, approve Tesla access and complete key pairing where required. You decide when tracking is allowed.

  4. Check the first received update

After you activate tracking, your vehicle view shows received data and its original report times. Sleeping or offline vehicles may take time to report.

Understand your Tesla’s battery health.

Learn how reported capacity, estimated health and Tesla’s own battery-health test differ.

Capacity is requested automatically for eligible connected Teslas on software 2026.32 or later, subject to tracking permissions and access. Compatible software alone does not guarantee a reading.
