TESLA TRACKING

Track your Tesla.

Check its last reported location, look back at recorded journeys, and choose when collection happens. Odomojo brings your vehicle information together in a browser.

One eligible vehicle · 14 days · No payment card

From a location check to a recorded journey

Use Current status for the latest received readings and History to review a day. The reported times and gaps help you judge what each view can tell you.

Last reported location

Find the vehicle’s latest received position and the time it was observed. If the car stops reporting, an older position stays dated; it is not treated as a new location.

Trips and mileage

Choose a date to inspect recorded trips, route observations and observed mileage. Retained vehicle observations cover 30 days. History starts with the information collected after setup, rather than importing every past drive.

Charging activity

Review recorded charging sessions and reported energy where available. Check incomplete-session indicators before using a figure as a total for a charging stop.

Check your Tesla before connecting

No extra tracking device is needed for an eligible connected Tesla. Odomojo uses the car’s built-in connection, with access you approve through Tesla.

Have the Tesla mobile app available on your phone and use an account authorized to access the car. Vehicle software, model, region and permissions affect what can be received. Odomojo checks reported software during setup and shows when a key or software step needs attention.

If you only need an occasional location check, Tesla’s own app may meet that need. Odomojo adds a place to review recorded activity and monitor vehicles together. Our guide to tracking your Tesla helps you choose a starting point.

Read the vehicle requirements , or ask about your model and region before registering.

How to start tracking

  1. Create your Odomojo account. Choose a personal or business space and review its time zone.
  2. Connect with Tesla. Sign in through Tesla, review the requested access, then select the vehicles you want to add.
  3. Choose collection hours. Every day, all day is selected by default. A weekday option is also available.
  4. Finish the vehicle’s setup. Follow key-pairing and software guidance, then approve Start tracking.
  5. Check the first update. Read the location and field timestamps to confirm what has arrived.

If you leave partway through, use Finish setup beside the saved vehicle in your overview. A connected Tesla account is progress; a received vehicle update confirms that data is arriving.

The full setup guide explains the buttons and what to do after each redirect.

Choose when collection happens

Choose all-day or weekday collection when adding vehicles. The displayed time zone determines those hours. An all-day schedule permits collection throughout the week; it does not guarantee continuous updates from a sleeping or disconnected car.

Use Pause tracking in Current status when you want to stop. Pausing stops new tracking records and hides the current position. Earlier history follows the retention setting; the current location-history period is 30 days.

For a shared car or business vehicle, make sure the people using it know the purpose and hours of monitoring. Signing out of Odomojo does not pause collection. Read tracking controls for the separate effects of pause, permissions and access expiry.

Try it with your own routine

The free trial covers 1 eligible vehicle for 14 days , beginning with the first usable received update after approved setup. No payment card is required. A 7-day setup window applies after setup access is claimed.

Use a familiar journey to check the recorded route, reported times and available mileage. Our first-week checklist gives you a practical way to evaluate location, history and collection controls.

The Tesla subscription rate is €4.99 per vehicle per month, excluding VAT . Check subscription availability for your billing country in Billing. €6.04 with 21% VAT where applicable; the final total is shown before payment. Tesla tracking questions

Can I see trips from before I connected?

Odomojo does not import a lifetime route history from your Tesla account. Recorded history comes from updates received while your vehicle’s setup, permissions and collection settings allow it.

Is the location always live?

Read the last reported time. Reporting depends on the vehicle, connectivity and collection settings. A recent battery reading does not make an older location recent, and an unchanged map pin is not proof the car stayed parked.

Can I add more than one Tesla?

You can select multiple authorized vehicles for a space, and each vehicle has its own setup and tracking state. The initial free trial covers one eligible vehicle; adding more cars does not give each an additional free trial. Save your billing address in Customer profile to check paid availability in Billing. Contact us about your fleet.

Do I need to leave the website open?

No. Closing the browser or signing out does not stop collection. Use Pause tracking in the vehicle’s Current status when you want to stop new tracking records.

Why is my Tesla connected but not updating?

Check Connection progress, key confirmation, software, tracking approval, saved hours and the access period. An authorized account does not prove a vehicle is sending data. The missing-updates guide provides a checklist.
