How a supported vehicle’s built-in connection can make everyday monitoring simpler.
Start with the connection already in your vehicle
Many connected vehicles can share information through manufacturer services. For supported integrations, Odomojo uses that connection rather than asking you to install an additional tracking device.
That makes setup different from fitting a dedicated tracker: you authorize manufacturer access, complete the required vehicle setup and choose your tracking preferences.
Compatibility still matters
Built-in connectivity does not guarantee a particular field or reporting frequency. Manufacturer, model, region, firmware and permissions can all affect what is available.
Check supported vehicles before making a decision. Tesla is Odomojo’s first integration; BMW is in preparation.
Read the information with its time
A reported location describes a moment, not a promise of continuous coverage. Sleeping vehicles and connection gaps can leave some information older than other fields.
A useful monitoring service should show when a field was reported and make missing observations understandable. Learn more about last reported location.
Choose what fits your needs
If your requirements depend on continuous coverage or a particular update frequency, establish those requirements before choosing an integration. Do not treat any connected-car service as a guarantee that a vehicle will report in every condition.
